THE ULTIMATE TRAINING CAMPS FOR IRONMAN TEXAS 2012
Athletes competing in the Ironman Texas triathlon on May 19, 2012 will not want to miss this opportunity to train with the experts on the Ironman course in The Woodlands, Texas. Attendance at the camps should arm the athlete with invaluable experience and insight into the race course, as well as expert advice from the seminars to ensure peak performance on race day.
Two training camps are scheduled to be held on the following dates:
CAMP 1: March 2 - 4, 2012
CAMP 2: April 20 -22, 2012
At each camp, our experts will provide guidance and education that will benefit athletes of all skill levels—from the beginner to the most experienced long course triathlete. Each phase will emphasize training on the actual Ironman bike and run course. It will also include swim/bike/run clinics, seminars on efficient and effective training as well as nutrition, bike mechanical advice and assistance, guidance on buying the right equipment for your individual needs, and racing tips. Plus, there will be opportunities for athletes who want to obtain a professional bike fitting or gait/stride analysis.
AT CURRENT, PRIOR TO RACE WEEK, THE WOODLANDS TOWNSHIP IS NOT PERMITTING ANY ACCESS TO THE SWIM VENUE, BUT IS EXPECTED TO ALLOW AN OPEN WATER SWIM IN LATE APRIL OR EARLY MAY.
